Creating a web site? Have you already got a web site and can not get it listed on search engines? Have you wondered how a web site gets listed on the first couple of pages when you do a web search? This document is the accumulation of all the tricks and tips and secrets I learned and used while setting up my web site. How do you move your listing up? This document will give you the tricks for that. On can get listed on some pay Search engines and indexes for free and I will tell you how to do that in this document. I also give some tips on what not to do. The No No's are important since doing the wrong things can get your site banned from a search engine permanently!

So how did I do it? Well there are tricks! I have been on the web for 2 years, my counters show most of the hits I have had, (I had to get them more than once so I lost the previous counts). So finally now my sites have a web presence including on Yahoo.

I created all the pages myself without a expensive web page designer program! I did not pay anyone or any index or any search engine or any of those services that submit sites. Did you know that Yahoo now charges $299 for "Suggesting a site" when is used to be free? They guarantee that the submission will be looked at, but there is no guarantee that it will be listed! According to a information site I found, only 70% of the site suggestions to Yahoo get listed! That is $299 for a big gamble. I got listed on the web including Yahoo for free you can find out how!

I had no experience with the internet when I started my site, so I purchased a book in from technical book store for about $30. It was not much help. Then I purchased an online book for $50 that claimed to tell you how to get on the web. It full of stuff; most of it I had already done or it was simply web history! (Since the internet changes so fast most in the books was history!) There were about couple of pages of tips that I would have not considered and a couple of pages of No, No"s. No, No's are important. You can get your site banned if you do the wrong things. Both books had lots on the search engines and indexes, all of which is available on the web for free which I found out later.

What is in it:


This document is for the beginner or someone that has had a site and has not had any hits. It simply contains the "things" I did to my web site to get is listed, again without paying anyone except my ISP/web server.

What I am doing with this document is to save people the struggle and uncertainty that I went through and hopefully to I can make a couple of bucks. You really cannot tell for months what you have done is working since it takes months to be listed. Not to mention the search engines and indexes will NOT tell you if something is wrong with your submission or if your site was refused! I waited for months wondering why it was taking so long. This will hopefully give you the confidence that what you have done will work and all you have to do is wait without worrying!

If I had had this information my site would no doubt have gotten listed many months earlier!
